This two-sided 1960's Commandant of the Marine Corps (CMC), 4 stars with Eagle Globe and Anchor device vehicle pennant was found at 1st Marine Division HQ back in the 1990's during a renovation along with other period items from the Korean War and Vietnam era. It is 100% the real thing and is in excellent un-used condition. It has small leather guides along the seam to facilitate flying on a small staff on a vehicle. These were popular until replaced by the more common placards that slide into the license plate holder. Every major command keeps general officer flags and placards for official visits. These rarely surface, let alone in this condition. Measures 16" x 12" and could be framed and hung up with medals, uniforms, helmets, etc. Buy-it-Now or send along an offer.
