2 inch juvenile Silurian eurypterid from bertie fm, new york  eurypterus remipes

Description

This is a 2 inch juvenile eurypterus remipes (rare!) from the Bertie Formation in Ilion, New York. The walking legs are present and some is at least one paddle. The other appears to be under the matrix.
This specimen does not have excellent contrast with the matrix but that can be fixed by darkening the specimens with a coating.
