    I have been asked to represent an impressive Bakelite collection for sale. This collection spans 30 years and includes many one-of-a-kind pieces as well as rare, flawless items that represent the bygone era of Bakelite Jewelry. All pieces are 100% authentic.  I will be adding several new pieces each week. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me.     Vintage 1940s Emerson 400 tube radio in terrific condition considering it’s age. This is the real deal, not painted, not cleaned, not buffed but all original. The Bakelite is swirled green/yellow Bakelite and is not paint. It has one large break around the dial (see photo) and I do not have the broken piece. It is also missing the handle. There are no other breaks, chips or cracks anywhere including around the holes where the handle attaches. The radio works! I plugged it in and it tuned to a station and was pretty clear with a slight buzzing.
