Bakelite Rings Circles Possibly for curtains Art Deo Mid Century

Offered for sale are 10 rings that are almost 1 1/2 inches in diameter.  They vary in shape as some are thicker than others and holes differ a bit. The clear one was with the others but I am pretty sure that it is not bakelite but I will include it.  When piled together they measure just shy of 2 inches tall.  They are sold as-is due to wear etc.  My mother was an avid estate sale shopper and probably purchased them in the 1980's.  I am not sure what they were originally for but I think maybe somehow for curtains but they could be turned into Jewelry.
