    "Tempesta di Rosso"

    Catalunya  2007
    by
    John Keogh
In the first year of the 800cc format, Casey Stoner and his Ducati Desmosedici, were indeed a Red Storm.
Winning ten of eighteen races, the 22 year old Australian secured a first MotoGP Championship for himself and Ducati.
In a season that saw few 'elbow to elbow', late race battles for victory, Catalunya was exceptional.
Here, the best straight up fight of the year between Casey and his main rival, Valentino Rossi, would see the two contest the race in spectacular fashion.
Unlike many before him, Casey shrugged off Valentino's famous late race pressure to win by 0.069 seconds. In Rossi's words, "He rode like a God."
Absolutely stunning, multimedia works by motorcycle designer/artist John Keogh, celebrating Ducati and it's riders,
while commemorating historic milestones for all.
This gorgeous piece is printed on a new archival paper called Silver Rag, which produces a giclee print of such high quality, it appears to be 3D!
Dimensions are 22 x 28 inches, with an image (border included) of 18.75 x 24.5 inches.
A very limited edition of ONLY 15 prints!

MotoDeity (AutoMotoArt) donate five prints to Day of Champions
    31 March 2008
The motorcycle art specialists, and Riders supporters, MotoDeity have given Riders five fantastic prints to auction at this year’s Day of Champions.
The first print is from an original painting by Nicholas Watts. Painted in 2003, ‘The Doctor has Arrived’ depicts Valentino Rossi and Max Biaggi just before the finish line at the 2001 Australian GP at Phillip Island as Valentino secures his first premiere class championship.
In addition, a new Nicholas Watts painting, ‘Perfect Day’, has been printed to canvas and is up for auction as well. This piece depicts Nicky Hayden leading the pack away from the start at the 2005 USGP, at Laguna Seca. Nicky would dominate the return of GP racing to the USA and would score his first GP victory.
As well as these items, MotoDeity have donated a pair of prints from paintings by British motorbike designer and artist, John Keogh. Entitled ‘Twins-Full Circle’ Valencia 2006 and ‘Tempesta di Rosso’ Catalunya 2007, both of these celebrate the success of the Ducati Desmosedici and it's riders, Troy Bayliss, Loris Capirossi and of course, Casey Stoner.
The final print is Valentino Rossi as you have never seen him before. ‘Super Hero’ Malaysia 2004, is a modified anime interpretation of a Gigi Soldano photo. This is a fun and whimsical piece by Canadian artist, Tracy Munch. Still stinging from the grid penalty and subsequent race crash in Qatar a week earlier, a very determined Valentino waits to sweep the field away.
MotoDeity are dedicated to producing the finest, historically significant moto art. A great deal of thought, research and collaboration goes into each original work of art and then into producing the finest of prints. As well as being very impressive pieces of art, Riders will get as many of these prints signed as possible at Day of Champions before they are auctioned.
Dr. Velocity of MotoDeity said "MotoDeity always has and always will, make charitable giving an integral part of what we do. These are special works.  When signed by the riders the prints auctioned by Riders for Health, are one-of-a-kind items and as such are very, very special."
The money raised from the sale of these prints will help to support our work.Across Africa, Riders is reaching over 10 million people by mobilising out reach health workers in rural communities. In our new programme in Lesotho we are mobilising 120 health workers who will be able to take health care to even the remotest communities. With the help of our supporters we are working to reach another 10 million people by 2010, to find out more about how you can help us to achieve our target, click here.
Jennie Goodman from Riders said "We are hugely grateful for all of the support that MotoDeity have given us. These five prints are fantastic, and capture perfectly the excitement that is at the heart of MotoGP and Day of Champions.I am certain that these items will be very popular at the auction, so we cannot thank David enough for donating them to us and helping to support our work in Africa."
All of these pieces, and more, are available signed and unsigned, from AutoMotoArt.com and
