This listing is for a set of Extra Large Vertical Prayer flags which we call in Tibetan DHARCHOK and it is to hang on a pole using the cord sewn on the edged of the flags. The designs on this set are wind horse(surrounded by eight auspicious symbols and Tiger, Snow Lion, Garuda and dragon), Green Tara, Guru Rinpoche, Wind Horse (surrounded by 12 year symbols written in Tibetan Language) and the three long life Buddhas (the Buddha Amitayus, White Tara and the Buddha Namgyalma). There are twenty Tara prayers (a very powerful prayers that is chanted by monks everyday in every monastery), Prayers of Guru Rinpoche, prayers of dhuk kar and wind horse prayers. Prayer flags are usually to hang indoor and out on roof top or top of mountains that the wind blows and releases prayers into the universe and create a warm environment. In Tibet, Nepal or India, you can see prayer flags on the hill top or on the temple or stupas. There are five vertical prayer flags are sewn together with five different colors which are red, yellow, green, blue and white and they represent five elements. The total length of this flag is 16 feet long and 19 inches wide.
