ORIGINAL Viet Cong Battle Flag-Estate Fresh. A super cool Vietnam War Viet Cong flag that was just discovered in a veterans estate here in Greensboro. An incredibly rare original Viet Cong flag. This flag was made during the early stages of the Vietnam War. Flags of this style were all made in different regions but patterned after the same general design, which is why you won't find two that are made identically with consistent dimensions.
The embroidery on the flag translates as follows:
“Armed Forces for the Liberation of South Vietnam
Armed forces liberating province Phuoc Tuy unit d: 275
The unit leading the resistance upholds the indomitable spirit of the hard and heroic eastern region.”
***Unlike most of the modern produced, fake Viet Congflags, this one is absolutely authentic, and was just pulled from the veterans estate here in Greensboro. Not a flag you want to miss!
