Rare Dolichopterus head from Bertie Formation, NY Silurian eurypterid

Description

Rare 1.5 inch wide Dolichopterus macrochirus head from the Bertie Formation in Ilion, New York. Excellent detail present! Excellent detail on the head!  This is an extremely uncommon eurypterid.
The eyes are negative and are not damaged. There is a little bit of rock that is covering them and can be popped out with some careful prepping.
