Description

Very rare Osaka Rail tie clip award. Osaka Rail is part of Japan Rail System, since 1943, and was established in 1899. They are a regional office with a bit of autonomy within JR, and from 1970 to 1987 they had even larger autonomy within JR as superordinate office- this was awarded at that time!

Depicted on obverse is Japanese D-51 Engine. (this was awarded in the year when the last D-51 Locomotives were retired)

Condition: pin slightly oxidized, discolored, loss of plating.
