Vintage Butterscotch Bakelite Brooch! Rare Octopus Inspired "Sucker" Carvings!!

This vintage Bakelite brooch is a lovely butterscotch color. T
he brooch has a classic bar shape with the ends rounded off. What's unique is its carvings.
The brooch's maker carved three rows of round "sucker" carvings which got their name from the suckers found on octopi. I've seen bracelets with the octopus sucker design, but can't recall seeing the same design on a brooch.
In any event, a very cool brooch in great condition that will make a
great addition to your collection!
The brooch has its original roll-over "c" clasp that is in perfect working order and stays closed when worn.
It measures 3 1/4" x 3/4" at its widest point. The brooch is approximately 1/4" thick and weighs 12 grams.
The brooch tests positive for Bakelite using Simichrome polish. (See photo #10) No chips or cracks were seen.
